Create a new image or edit a reference in three steps, using the GPT Image 2.5 generator above.
Write a prompt or add references
Choose Text to image to start from a description. For edits, choose Edit image and upload up to 16 JPG, PNG, or WebP images, each no larger than 10 MB. Describe what should change and what should stay the same.
Choose your model and settings
Select GPT Image 2.5 Flare or Sunburst, then choose an aspect ratio, 1K–4K resolution, and PNG, JPEG, or WebP output. Move the Quality slider from Low to Max and check the displayed credit cost. Max at 4K costs 25 credits.

What is the difference between GPT Image 2.5 Flare and Sunburst on JXP?
Both models support text-to-image generation, image editing, five quality levels, and 1K, 2K, or 4K output. Their credit rates differ at some settings: Flare uses 1 credit for Low / 2K and 2 for Medium / 2K, while Sunburst uses 2 and 3 respectively. You can switch models in the generator.
Does every GPT Image 2.5 image cost 25 credits?
No. The cost ranges from 1 to 25 credits per image. Max quality at 4K costs 25 credits on either model; Low or Medium at 1K costs 1 credit. Your selected model, quality, and resolution determine the price shown above Generate image.
How do I choose a GPT Image 2.5 quality setting?
